Love Letters

Andrew and Melissa, both born to wealth and position, are childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank-you notes and summer postcards. Romantically attached, they continue to exchange letters through the boarding school and college years-where Andy excels at Yale and law school, while Melissa flunks out of a series of “good schools”.

Andy and Melissa marry other people and have children. In their later years they meet again and start a brief and un-timely affair. Even though they may have loved each other, their passion is felt more in the words written between them.
